WMS Announcements for Wednesday,  April 24, 2019

  • LUNCH: Nacho supreme, fruit, veggie, and milk  or Salad Bar

  • There will be a mandatory PARENT meeting for all 7th & 8th graders traveling to Washington DC & NYC on Wednesday, May 8th at 6 PM at WMS in the band/choir room. Please have your parent contact Mrs. Houck if he/she cannot attend.

  • The time is near to get yourself signed up for the Belize trip in summer 2020. Send your parents, or bring yourself and a friend to find out how! We'll be tubing in a cave, snorkeling, visiting ancient temples and more! You don't need to know any Spanish to go on this trip. Our sign up & parent meeting is this Thursday in room C-213 at the high school. We're meeting at 5:30 p.m. Don't miss out on this opportunity to go on a trip of a lifetime!

  • We are asking all the members of the community to save their aluminum cans and bring them to the Tractor Supply parking lot on Friday from 3:30 to 6:30 or Saturday from 9 am to noon. This will be a competition between Washington Middle School, Lincoln, and Jefferson. There will be 3 trailers set up in the parking lot, one for each school. The people donating cans choose one of the three trailers to put their cans in. The school that has the most cans will win the “Recycled Traveling Trophy”.

The proceeds will be used to help GROW (Glendive recycle our waste). They are working toward purchasing a cardboard baler, shed, and pallet jack for the new recycling center. So, bring in all of your aluminum cans and support Washington Middle School and the new recycling center.

  • There will be a student council meeting on Thursday morning at 7:45 for all members.  Please be on time.

  • Just a reminder that the 7th grade Science Strawberry DNA Extraction Lab makeup will be Thursday April 25th during our lunch recess.

  • The LAST make up for Frog Dissection will be on Friday April 26th during our lunch recess.

  • We are taking submissions for the Joke of the Day that I read during the morning announcements.  If you would like your joke to be considered please email it to Mr. Goyette for consideration.

  • AFTER SCHOOL ICU ROOM: Ms. Schaaf Rm 25
