WMS Announcements for Friday,  May 3, 2019

  • LUNCH: Deli sandwich w/ chips, fruit, veggie and milk  NO Salad Bar

  • This week we are celebrating Mental Health Week at WMS.  There will be fun activities every day during your lunch recess that you may choose to participate in.

Friday: participate in a scavenger hunt and win prizes

There will be flyers around the school with more detailed information as well.

In addition to the other activities happening this week for Mental Health Awareness, we are having a scavenger hunt.  There are two cards you may pick up from Mrs. Nissley or Mrs. Cleveland in the office. One is green, and it says "SAFE SPACES" on it.  You will need to download the Monday app called Let's Talk and locate two safe spaces in Glendive you could go if you ever needed a safe space.  Write the two locations on the card and turn it in to Mrs. Nissley for a prize.

The second card is orange and it has "suicide prevention app" written on it.  Each day this week, your teachers will have a different app available for you to download that will help enhance your mental health.  If you download three of the 5 apps available, you may see Mrs. Nissley Friday after school or Monday after school to collect your prize.  You will have to show her that you downloaded the three apps on your phone.

Please see Mrs. Nissley if you have any questions concerning the scavenger hunt.

  • This is a reminder to all Girls' Club members who are planning to attend the sleepover, you must get your permission form and $2.00 to Mrs. Nissley by TODAY, May 3rd.  Thank you to those students who already turned it in.

  • The Mentor/Mentee lunch for April is today.  Please meet in the activities room during 6th grade lunch and recess.
