From Mr. Buckley (AD): Here is the schedule for the WMS FB Championship weekend @ Sidney:
The 7th grade game will start approximately at 1:00-1:30 pm. They have a practice field the teams can use to warm up. As soon as the game in front of them finishes we will be expected to be ready to play. 8th grade will be 3:30-4:00 pm. Leave time will be 11 am. GO DEMONS!!!

FROM MR. BUCKLEY (AD): The Scottie XC Invitational (both Middle School and High School) scheduled for tomorrow at Fort Peck has been POSTPONED to Next Saturday Oct. 5th. Same time, same place, next weekend!
Sorry for the change, but we feel it is the best course of action right now with the weather calling for a high of 44 degrees, with snow/rain, and 35 MPH winds.
FROM MR. BUCKLEY (AD): The middle school cross country meet scheduled in Watford City on October 1st has been cancelled. Construction on their golf course did not get finished making the course unavailable to run on. Thank you and have a good weekend.

NOTE FOR 6th GRADE PARENTS: On Friday, September 27, 2019, the 6th graders will participate in a service project. We will leave the school at 9:30 to pick up litter at the practice football fields, baseball fields, and Lloyd Square Park. We will be returning around 11:00 for a picnic lunch at the school. The WMS cooks will make sack lunches which may be purchased just like a regular hot lunch, or your child may bring a lunch from home.
Students should wear appropriate clothing, and they may want to bring along a disposable water bottle. Garbage bags and vinyl gloves will be provided. If students desire, they may bring garden or leather gloves from home, but please make sure they are labeled. We look forward to serving our community.
NOTE FOR 7th GRADE PARENTS: On Friday, September 27, 2019, the 7th graders will be heading out at 9am to clean up around the fairgrounds before a community event this Saturday, pick up litter between the fairgrounds and the Cenex gas station, along the highway from the Trail Star to the Alliance Church, and from the Dawson County Vet Clinic and Berg Tire to Eyer Park. We will picnic in Eyer Park around 11:30am, play some games, and then walk back to WMS over the Bell Street Bridge to return to WMS before the 1:18pm early release time for that day.
Students should wear appropriate clothing and bring a backpack or cinch bag if possible. Each student will be given a sack lunch provided by the school, unless they want to bring a sack lunch from home, a bottle of water, a garbage bag, and vinyl gloves for the day. Students may bring garden or leather gloves from home as they would probably stand up better. Please label them on the inside of the cuff. We have Sharpie markers if needed. Students may bring an additional bottle of water to drink from home if they think they will need one. The temperature is to be cooler with a high around 55 degrees. This will be a service project for the 7th grade. We look forward to helping out our community. GO DEMONS!!!
